UNIVERSITY FRESHER

We are at the dawn of a new chapter in the education life of three children from our church! We are grateful to the Lord for their acceptance at the Copperbelt University. Tiyankhenji Natasha Njobvu, Lupupa Mwape Sakala and Mwenya Kapuka Ngandwe will start their university educa-tion in April at the Copperbelt University in Kitwe. They have applied for the government bursary. We are praying for them to be granted the bursary since the cost of univer-sity education is high.

University life has it’s own challenges to young people. It is therefore important that we pray for their preservation and success in their education.

COUPLE’S VISIT TO NSOBE

In July 2014 during the heroes and unity holiday, the couples mininstry has planned to have an outing to Nsobe Game camp which is 50km south of Ndola and 65km north of Kapiri Mposhi on the great North Road. The place is perfect for game viewing, bush walks, birding, fishing or just relaxing as the sun goes down, the Zambian way.

In the quest to find a good place, five couples visited Nsobe in March in order to have an on the spot check of the facili-ties available. The place was found to be an excellent ven-ue for couples outing. Pastor Choolwe Mweetwa and his wife will grace this two day outing and the main subject of discussion will be “Spending Time Together”. Join us in praying for the fulfilment of this event.

WEDDING BELLS – MARRON AND MUBANGA

All smiles—Mr. & Mrs. Chita! Wedding bells rang for Mar-ron and Mubanga when they tied the knot in holy matri-mony. The day that seemed far was finally a reality. Months of preparation and anxious waiting came to a sweet ending as the bride and groom finally realized their dream on 22nd February 2014. Parents, friends and rela-tives all gathered to witness this grand occasion. Praise be to God for bringing them together we pray that the Lord will continue to bless them in their marriage so that they can establish a godly home.

RELOCATION OF KANTANSHI REFORMED BAPTIST CHURCH

The meeting place for Kantanshi Reformed Baptist Church has changed from Kantanshi Trades Training College (CHOANNI) to Mufulira Trades Training Institute Annex B situated about 400 meters south west from the previous meeting place.

We are still praying to God that we get a Pastor so as to en-hance the work. We therefore urge all the Brethren to join us in seeking the Lord’s face in finding a shepherd for this work. Currently Elder Mufulo Ng’andwe is still overseeing this work.
