Redemption Bible Church (Cuito-Bie, Angola): A Church Planting Opportunity

Angola’s forty million people desperately need the true gospel. Despite the country’s size, gospel-preaching churches are scarce, while prosperity gospel, traditional religion, and Mormonism flourish. Most gospel workers concentrate only in the capital city of Luanda, leaving vast regions unreached. The harvest fields in Bie Province are ready, but workers are few.

Igreja Bíblica Redenção (Redemption Bible Church) will be planted in Cuito-Bie to bring biblical truth to this underserved region. Through systematic evangelism, discipleship, and church multiplication, this work aims to establish a thriving, independent church that will plant additional churches throughout the region.

Church Planter João Macedo Domingos is married to Laureta Deolinda with daughter Cisola. He currently serves as Pastor at Kitwe Church, Zambia. He holds diploma in Expository Preaching and BA in Missions from Central Africa Baptist University and is pursuing Master’s in Theology.

• Sending Church: Kitwe Church—Kitwe, Zambia
• Core Team Members: Marcelino Eduardo—an Angolan police officer, married to Branca, committed to theological training; Guilherme Gaspar—a university lecturer and high school teacher, married to Telma, born in Cuito.

• Year 1: Door-to-door evangelism, open-air preaching, home Bible studies
• Year 2: Establish meeting space, disciple new believers
• Years 3–4: Grow congregation numerically and spiritually
• Years 5–6: Appoint deacons and additional elders
• Year 7: Achieve independence and begin planting daughter churches

• Monthly Support Required: $1,000 (covers personal support and ministry expenses)
