Greetings brethren,
It has been some time after my first newsletter, and I am grateful for all who contacted me afterwards, encouraged me, and prayed for me.
Three Rivers Reformed Baptist Church
The Lord has helped us with Kobus to keep things going while I am also heavily involved at Orange Farm. Attendance has been really good in church service and Bible studies, including the Bible study below to reach out to the University of North West.
We are experiencing a change in Leadership and are uncertain as to the future of the church, having just announced the retirement of the long serving elder Kobus. But we do trust that the Lord will keep his church through this big change.

Orange Farm Baptist Church.
On 14 August, we had our first service in Orange Farm and, as you can see below, we had quite an attendance. The Lord be praised through your many prayers and support.
Central Baptist Church in Pretoria assisted us by donating nice and good quality chairs. We are so grateful because the donation also assisted an initiative by one of the sisters to help kids in the township. We gave some of the chairs to her crèche.
We also had Chris Mnguni from Grace Baptist Church in Daveyton come and minister to us. Indeed, a lovely gospel partnership is always wonderful to have. A number of those who are attending have explicitly expressed their commitment to come regularly to the church.

External Events
We had Simeon Trust workshop in July and it was both challenging and encouraging. It showed me, in particular, that I still have a lot of work to do in growing in knowledge of the Scriptures.
We also had our Sola 5 conference, which was so provoking regarding missions and church planting. It was encouraging as well for the work in Orange Farm, when we see that there are many other brothers facing similar challenges and having the same zeal for missions.
I also had the opportunity to evangelise alongside the Rumsig Church of God with Pastor Siya Pantshwa and many others. What a privilege for the gospel.

Prayer Points
Please pray for:
- stability of Three Rivers Baptist Church through the change in leadership;
- Bible studies to impact the people towards growth;
- conversions in Orange Farm and discipleship;
- my growth in knowledge of the word in order to be a good vessel for the Father to feed the flock; and
- Orange Farm Baptist Church’s needs to continue to be met.
Thank you for your prayers
