Dear friend,
Greetings in the matchless name of our great Shepherd and King, the Lord Jesus Christ!
We remain thankful to God for you. We do not take for granted our partnership in the glorious gospel. We hope the update below will encourage you and spur you more in praying for us and all else you do.
Church Plant Progress
As many of you may be aware we planted a new church last September: Trinity Bible Church.
We are thankful to report that the new work is progressing well. Our elders are supplying pulpit help to the lead planter when he needs a break. The proximity has made this possible.
We are grateful that the good Lord has enabled us to serve him in this way.
Church Revitalisation
A sister church that has been struggling for a while has approached us to help them strengthen and revitalise their ailing church. Our elders discussed this and we believe this is an opportunity for us to come alongside them.
We do not know how our help will look like. They may be even be a possibility for them to join us and then start plans of a replant rather than revitalisation.
All this to say we need wisdom and prayers for God’s direction.
Leadership Development
The church plant and the prospective church revitalisation (or replant) mentioned above necessitates we intensify and formalise our plans to raise more leaders. We are now planning on resuming our Leadership Development program.
We will be making some changes so that we can accommodate the men that are part of the core team at the church plant as well as the men at the struggling church. We hope this will be a pathway to some of these men becoming deacons and elders at the three churches and some of them being future church planters, God willing.
We are simply attempting great things for God and expecting great things from him.
Tenth Year Anniversary
Our church turns ten years next month. This is a milestone for us. We have seen God work mightily from our inception to today. We started with one family (not recommended at all!) and two individuals but now we have been graced to be part of the story of many that have come to saving faith and many others have been saved from erroneous theology.
We are amazed at what God has done through your prayers and support. We are trusting God for the next ten years that he will be pleased to use us to strengthen our church and use us as a springboard for more church plants as we obey the Great Commission.
We will be celebrating this milestone in May.
Prayers of Praise
- Our church plant, Trinity Bible Church, has started well and is going well.
- Reformation Bible Church turns ten next month. There is so much to be thankful for. God has been kind to us.
- The unity of the elders has been a blessing and source of encouragement.

- We are planning to start an internship program that we hope will lead to us sending qualified men to do church planting and church strengthening!
- Pray that we will remain steadfast and upright.

Let us know how we may be praying for you.
All for him,
Newton Chilingulo
