We pray this week for Free State Bible Church (FSBC) in South Africa, where Tsholo Kukuni serves as pastor-teacher. The church writes:
Dear sisters and brothers,
Warm greetings from FSBC.
Thank you for remembering us in your prayers. As you pray for us, we would be grateful if you could bring the following requests before the Lord:
- Pray that our ongoing one-on-one discipleship ministry will bear lasting spiritual fruit, especially that those who have embraced the gospel will grow to become committed members of FSBC.
- Pray for the Veritas College training courses, particularly the current cohort facilitated by Pastor Tebogo. Pray that the Lord will use them to strengthen and cultivate faithful biblical interpretation.
- Pray for our NPO registration. For several months, we have experienced ongoing delays and frustrations in obtaining our registration certificate from the Department of Social Development, which now has us having to deal with SARS’s unhappiness. We ask the Lord to grant grace and bring this process to a successful conclusion soon.
- Pray for Pastors Tebogo and Tsholo as they shepherd the church, faithfully lead their families, and labour for the fruitfulness of the gospel. Pray also for the Molefi family as they prepare to be sent to plant a church in Kuruman. - Pray that the Lord will raise up godly men who desire to serve as elders and deacons, and grant the church wisdom to recognise, examine, and appoint those whom he is calling to these ministries.
- Pray that our nouthetic counselling ministry will bear much fruit, and that the Lord will continue equipping the saints to minister God’s word faithfully as they care for and counsel one another.
- Join us in giving thanks to the Lord for graciously granting us an extension of the lease on the building where we gather for corporate worship.
