Monte Christo Baptist Church is located in Windhoek, Namibia, and operates under the leadership of Pastor Laban Mwashekele, who has served as elder (pastor) for local evangelical vision and national Reformed mission at Monte Christo Baptist Church since from 30 June 1995.
Pastor Laban and his wife meHilen Panduleni Ndona Mwashekele graduated from Baptist International Theological Seminary (King William’s Town, South Africa), where they were trained between 1990 and 1993. They assisted Grace (now Pilgrim) Baptist Church, Katutura, Windhoek, in 1994, until God used them to plant the Monte Christo Baptist Church.
