Moletsane Baptist Church was founded in 1978 and is a member church both of Sola 5 and of the Baptist Union of Southern Africa. It is located in Moletsane, Soweto.
We love expository preaching, which makes the main point of a passage of Scripture the main point of the sermon and applies it to life. The Word of God is at the centre of what we do, of why we do things, and how we do things, it is the foundation and starting point for every aspect of our Christian life.
When we formally gather in worship, it is to praise God with all our hearts and all our minds. Our desire and prayer is that all who attend to learn of the salvation and of the hope that is found in Jesus Christ.
We are a body of Christ that loves to serve one another as a pattern of our lives. Each of our members has the privilege and responsibility to use his or her spiritual gifts and abilities to participate fully in the life and health of our church.
Moletsane Baptist Church is also passionate about the gospel, and is committed to making known the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and proclaiming his Word in our township, our country and the world.
