BBC’s annual World Outreach Celebration for 2014 will take place from Wednesday, 5 to Sunday, 9 March 2014. Our guest speaker this year is Daniel Bennett, pastor of Bethany Community Church in Washington, Illinois. Pastor Bennett, who has a passion for orphan care ministry, will be speaking on “Missions and the Marginalised.”

Pastor Daniel began working on ministry at Bethany Community Church during his sabbatical from Bethany Baptist Church in October and November of 2007. Prior to that he had been at Bethany Baptist Church since August 2000 as the youth pastor and family pastor.
He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Dallas in 1999 and majored in Literary Studies and Historical Studies. In 2004, he earned his Master’s of Divinity from Moody Bible Institute. He recently finished his Doctorate of Ministry in Expository Preaching at Southern Seminary in May of 2011.
He is also the author of A Passion for the Fatherless, a book that is designed to help the church engage in God-centered orphan care ministry.
Daniel and his wife, Whitney, have four children, Hannah, Austin, Noah, and Ellie.
