- Thank God for a very blessed holiday Bible club during the July school holidays. Over forty volunteers sacrificially and joyfully took leave to serve the children.
- The church recently hosted the Wyatt-Goodall family from Goodwood Baptist Church for a wonderful missions weekend. Praise God for partnerships among Sola 5 churches.
- The church also hosted the Molefi family from Free State Bible Church for a weekend of exploring further options of partnerships among likeminded churches. This was a blessed weekend.
- Rejoice with the church in God’s kindness in enabling it to enjoy a wonderful sense of unity amongst a multicultural, multigenerational membership.
- Rejoice with the church in the privilege of taking hands with a number of local congregations for combining efforts in training up future elders and deacons.
Petitions
- Pray for the church’s upcoming SGM where it will prayerfully consider the appointment of another brother to the diaconate and where a number of important missions endeavours will be brought before the membership.
- Pray that the church will continually be guarded from false doctrine as God increases love for his truth, and that the church’s elders will be given all that is needed to continue leading the flock in wisdom and grace.
- Pray that God will use the church as an instruments of his sovereign will to proclaim Christ, knowing that our labour in him is never in vain.
- Pray that God will continue to work by his Holy Spirit in the hearts of the congregation, stirring up a spirit of joyful, proportionate, and sacrificial giving.
- Pray for the church’s upcoming baptismal service as it celebrates God’s grace and the administration of the sacrament to a number of believers.
