Christ Baptist Church Mokopane was established on 15 May 2016 by pastor Johann Odendaal. Beginning 2017, pastor Lucas Stoltz joined the pastoral team, to assist Ps Johann with the ministry. In November 2017, Ps Lucas was called to become the full-time pastor upon his Graduation at Christ Seminary. We have since expanded our ministries, like starting a Sunday School, Youth Group and an additional Bible Study.
The church exists as a Biblical community to glorify God, by exalting His supremacy in all things, equipping one another for all works of service and evangelizing all nations, so that we may present all people complete in Christ.
“Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ” (Colossians 1:28).
It is our desire to stand firm on the 16th century Reformation principles of our faith, namely that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone as taught in Scripture alone in order that all glory alone belong to God.
